ABOUT ME
Elias Shapiro is a sound designer working with theatre, performance, film, and mixed-media projects.

His work often begins before form is fixed, developing sound material alongside rehearsals and allowing it to change in response to performers, space, and staging. He is particularly interested in processes where sound is tested, broken, and rebuilt rather than delivered as a finished score.

He works in close collaboration with directors and performers, using sound to support structure, pacing, and transitions within a production.
